Spark Magazine Issue 19

Spark is a student-run fashion magazine at the University of Texas at Austin. Issue 19 explored concepts like post-humanism, cyborgs, and technology. I designed the layouts for two editorials with an interesting workflow -- receiving all the photographs and copy at the end of the process with no input or direction during the writing or shooting. Thus, I was free to infer an art direction based on these set elements and design a layout to harmonize them together. It was a fun twist on a collaborative workflow that taught me to read between the lines.
